I met Mr. Oleg at a fair in Moscow which was my first time to visit an exhibition abroad. In order to catch this opportunity, I prepared various specifications of samples, pictures and some videos, before going abroad.
While visiting the exhibition, I discovered Mr. Oleg’s stand and products-- Vibrating screen. After checking the products, I thought it totally my potential big customer.
I introduced myself and our products to him, hoped to build cooperation with his company.
Through communication, I know the demands of him, including mesh count, material, weave style, but they have fixed suppliers, and didn’t have any experience of purchase from China.
Good news, Mr. Oleg is interested in the products from China. Then we exchanged contact information.
After returning home, I sent email and our catalog to Mr. Oleg. Unlucky, He is too busy, the email don’t receive any response. Finally via Whatsapp, we connected again, the new catalog and our website were offered.
It is glad that we received a positive feedback, they are very interested in our products and required sample, even they decided to visit our factory asap.
During the visiting, we learnt more details requirements of them, like mesh count, tensile strength, chemical composition etc.We took him to visit our factory: wire drawing workshop, weaving workshop, inspection room and warehouse.
After returning home, Mr. Oleg expressed his gratitude to us, and would test the samples as soon as possible. In the early stage of cooperation, sample test or trial order is most important,it will help us further understand each customer’s requirements and make reasonable adjustments, and will also help to continue the cooperation.
