Products Description

NiCr Alloy Wire is an alloy wire mainly composed of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), which has the characteristics of high resistance, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.

Chromium-Nickel Alloy Wire Types:

● Ni-Cr 80/20 wire (80% Nickel, 20% Chromium)

● Ni-Cr 60/15 wire (60% Nickel, 15% Chromium, balance Iron)

● Ni-Cr 70/30 wire (70% Nickel, 30% Chromium)

80/20 Ni-Cr Resistance Wire is an alloy used for operating temperatures up to 1200°C (2200°F). This chemical composition gives good oxidation resistance, especially under conditions of frequent switching or wide temperature fluctuations.

80/20 Ni Cr wire is also known as Resistance Heating Wire, Nichrome / Nicrhrome V, Brightray C, Cronix 80, Nicrothal 80, Chromalloy, Chromel, Nickel-Chromium Alloy, 80% Nickel/20% Chromium and Gilphy 80.

Alloy wires, crafted from meticulously combined metals, offer a unique blend of properties that surpass those of their individual components. This versatility makes them indispensable in a multitude of industries, driving innovation and enabling groundbreaking technologies.

Features of Ni-Cr Alloy Wire

● High-Temperature Resistance: Can withstand extreme temperatures up to 1250°C (2282°F), making it ideal for heating elements.

● Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Performs well in oxidizing environments and high-humidity conditions.

● Superior Electrical Resistivity: Provides stable resistance, making it useful in electrical applications.

● Good Mechanical Strength: Maintains strength and flexibility at high temperatures.

Applications of Nickel-Chromium Alloy Wire

Electric heating elements

● Resistance wire: used to manufacture electric furnace wire, electric heating tube, electric heating belt, such as electric water heater, oven, ceramic heater, etc.

● Industrial heating equipment: suitable for high-temperature furnace, heat treatment equipment, glass manufacturing, electric kiln, etc.

Aerospace and automobile

● Engine parts: used in high temperature environment, such as gas turbine components.

● Automobile exhaust system: high temperature sensor and heating element.

Electronic and electrical industry

● Precision resistor: used to manufacture high stability resistors in precision measuring instruments.

● Thermocouple: Nickel-chromium-nickel-silicon (K type) thermocouple wire, widely used in temperature measurement and control.

Cechen has rich experience in the production of Ni&Cr alloy wire. The Ni&Cr alloy wire we produce has good ovality and precise wire parameters. Our Ni&Cr alloy wire is widely exported to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. It has won wide acclaim from customers because of its more durable and excellent high temperature and corrosion resistance. If you are looking for a high-quality Ni&Cr alloy wire, please contact us.
