Products Description

410 stainless steel wire is martensitic stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance plus high strength and hardness. It is the most widely used of the hardenable stainless steels. Used for applications where high strength and moderate heat and corrosion resistance are required.

Features of 410 Stainless Steel Wire

● Corrosion resistance: 410 stainless steel wire has good corrosion resistance, but its corrosion resistance is slightly worse than that of austenitic stainless steel such as 304. It has a certain resistance to corrosion in common environments such as water and air.

● High strength: Due to its martensitic structure, 410 stainless steel wire has high strength, especially after heat treatment, it can achieve high hardness and wear resistance.

● High temperature resistance: 410 stainless steel wire shows certain stability at high temperatures and can usually withstand high temperature environments below 600°C.

● Good processability: 410 stainless steel wire has good processability, especially in the annealed state, and is easy to cut, bend and other processes.

● Magnetism: Due to its martensitic structure, 410 stainless steel wire is magnetic.

Application

410 Stainless Steel Scrubber Wire

● 410 stainless steel scrubber wire is a specialized application of 410 stainless steel, primarily used for cleaning and scrubbing purposes. Its high strength, hardness, and moderate corrosion resistance make it suitable for demanding scrubbing tasks.

Industrial Applications

● prings and Fasteners: 410 stainless steel wire is commonly used to manufacture springs, screws, bolts, and other fasteners due to its high strength and hardness.

● Wire Ropes and Cables: Suitable for wire ropes and cables in environments requiring moderate corrosion resistance and high tensile strength.

● Screens and Filters: Used in industrial screens, filters, and mesh for its durability and resistance to wear.

Automotive Industry

● Engine Components: Used in engine parts, such as valve stems, due to its heat resistance and strength.

● Exhaust Systems: Suitable for exhaust components and mufflers where moderate corrosion resistance is sufficient.

● Suspension Systems: Used in springs and other suspension components.

Cutlery and Tools

● Knives and Blades: 410 stainless steel is a popular choice for knives, blades, and cutting tools because of its hardness and ability to hold a sharp edge.

● Hand Tools: Used in the production of hand tools, such as pliers and wrenches, where strength and wear resistance are important.

Construction and Architecture

● Structural Components: Used in structural parts, such as brackets and supports, where strength and moderate corrosion resistance are required.

● Reinforcement: Occasionally used as reinforcement wire in concrete and other construction materials.

Medical and Dental Instruments

● Surgical Tools: Used in non-implantable surgical instruments and tools due to its hardness and ease of sterilization.

● Dental Instruments: Suitable for dental tools and equipment that require precision and durability.

Agriculture

● Fencing and Netting: Used in agricultural fencing, netting, and animal enclosures due to its strength and resistance to rust.

● Farm Equipment: Suitable for components of farm machinery that require wear resistance.

Oil and Gas Industry

● Downhole Tools: Used in downhole tools and equipment for oil and gas exploration due to its strength and moderate corrosion resistance.

● Pump Components: Suitable for pump shafts, valves, and other components exposed to corrosive environments.

Arts and Crafts

● Sculptures and Wire Art: Used in sculptures, wire art, and DIY projects because of its strength and ability to hold shape.
