Advantages of 304 Stainless Steel Wire

● Excellent corrosion resistance: 304 stainless steel has very good corrosion resistance and can resist corrosion from most chemical media, especially in oxidizing environments. It is suitable for use in humid and common corrosive environments.

● Good high temperature resistance: 304 stainless steel can work stably at higher temperatures and can usually withstand temperatures up to 870°C. Suitable for some applications that require heat resistance, such as heat exchangers and heating equipment.

● Excellent processability: 304 stainless steel has good cold and hot processing properties and can be processed by cutting, bending, stamping and other processing operations. It maintains good strength and toughness during processing.

● Good weldability: 304 stainless steel has good welding performance and is suitable for various conventional welding methods, such as arc welding, argon arc welding, etc. There will be no obvious cracks or brittleness problems after welding.

● Stainless acid resistance: 304 stainless steel has good tolerance to common acidic substances (such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, etc.) and is a commonly used material in the food and chemical fields.

● Non-magnetic: 304 stainless steel is non-magnetic in the annealed state, which makes it very valuable in some special applications, such as electronic equipment housings.

Advantages of 304L Stainless Steel Wire

● Better corrosion resistance: Due to its lower carbon content, 304L stainless steel shows better corrosion resistance than 304 after welding, especially for pitting and crevice corrosion.

● More suitable for welding: Due to its low carbon content, 304L stainless steel can effectively reduce carbide precipitation in the welding area after welding and avoid intergranular corrosion at high temperatures. Therefore, it has advantages in some occasions with high welding requirements (such as chemical engineering, food industry, etc.).

● Good strength and ductility: Although the strength of 304L is slightly lower than that of 304, its ductility and processability are more prominent, which is suitable for manufacturing some complex parts that require higher formability.

● Excellent high temperature resistance: 304L, like 304, has good high temperature resistance and can work stably in some high temperature environments.

Difference between 304 and 304L

● Carbon content: 304L has a lower carbon content than 304, and is less prone to intergranular corrosion after welding.

● Strength: The strength of 304 is slightly higher than 304L, but the difference is not big in actual use.

● Cost: The cost of 304 is usually slightly lower than 304L, but it is more important to choose according to specific needs.

Tungsten Wire Mesh

Tungsten wire mesh is special due to the metal used. With purity more than 99.9% Tungsten is a greyish-white refractory metal, has the highest tensile strength among all metals. Tungsten is extracted from ores, crushed to become powdery and thereafter mixed and molded to create the wire mesh.

Inconel Wire Mesh

Inconel alloys are well-suited for use in extreme environments, including high-temperature and corrosive conditions. They are strong, ductile, and creep- and oxidation-resistant under conditions of elevated temperature, making them valuable in industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, and marine engineering. Some of their applications include use in nuclear reactors and gas turbines, for example.

Stainless Steel Wire for Binding Wire

Stainless steel binding wire is a versatile material commonly used in construction, manufacturing, and other industrial applications. It's a type of wire made from stainless steel, which gives it properties like corrosion resistance, strength, and durability. The wire is typically used for tying, bundling, and securing materials like rebar in construction, as well as for various other purposes where a strong, rust-resistant wire is needed.
